Returns, Exchanges & Refunds

Thank you for supporting [Na+Cl-] Salted Skin. As a small business, every piece is carefully prepared and packed by hand. We want you to love your jewellery, so please read the information below.


Before Your Order Is Sent

For custom charm necklaces and bracelets, we will send a photo of your finished piece before dispatch. (please keep an eye on your email in the first 24h after ordering)
This is why we ask customers to provide an active email address when ordering.

This allows you to confirm that everything looks correct before it is shipped.
Once the order has been dispatched, changes can no longer be made. (replacements & exchanges accepted if further changes are needed after delivery)


Choosing Your Charms 

Please make sure you have selected the correct charms when placing your order.

If we contact you regarding your charm selection / chain and do not receive a response before dispatch, the order will be sent as placed after 48h. (we give a little time to get back to us)
If changes are requested after this and the mistake was not made by us, the customer will need to cover the exchange and shipping costs.

If we send the wrong charm / chain length or style or an item arrives faulty, we will of course replace it FREE of charge.


Necklace & Bracelet Length

Please measure and double-check your preferred length before ordering.

Returns based on incorrect length selection are not available.
However, we are happy to arrange an exchange if you would like a different length, with the customer covering the exchange and shipping costs (unless the mistake was ours or the item is faulty).


Returns (Pre-Made Items)

For pre-made items that are not customised, we accept returns within 14 days of delivery.

To be eligible for a return:

Items must be unworn and unused
All original packaging must be included
The item must be returned in its original condition


Return Shipping

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer, unless the return is due to an error or fault on our side.

Because we are a small business, returned items must be cleaned and repackaged (the old packaging not being able to be fully used), which is why we cannot cover these costs unless the mistake was ours.

We recommend using a tracked shipping service, as we cannot guarantee the arrival of returned items.


Faulty or Incorrect Items

If your order arrives damaged, faulty, or incorrect, please contact us as soon as possible.
We will arrange a replacement or exchange free of charge.

Order Confirmation
All orders are reviewed and confirmed before dispatch. Once an order has been approved or shipped, changes or cancellations cannot be guaranteed.

Wear & Hygiene Policy
For hygiene and quality reasons, jewellery that has been visible worn/ used, or returned in altered condition cannot be accepted for return or exchange.

Customer Responsibility
By placing an order, customers confirm that they have checked their selected charms, chain style, and length before purchasing. If an error was made during selection and not by us, exchange and shipping costs will be the customer’s responsibility.
